We have established a health and safety program that meets legislative requirements as well as industry standards.
At the heart of our safety program is our COR™ certification. COR™ is also known as The Certificate of Recognition Program, it is the ultimate accreditation to verify companies that have implemented a comprehensive health and safety program. This program provides industry employers with an effective health and safety management system to monitor and reduce incidents and injuries along with the associated financial costs.
Norwest Sheet Metal Fabricators also belongs to the Construction Safety Association of Manitoba (CSAM) which is the authoritative body that has the right to grant COR™ in the province of Manitoba. Because of the programs national standards many project owners use COR™ as a per-qualifier of contracts across Canada.
